Diverse Groups Join Forces for ExxonMobil Shareholder Meeting Exxpose Exxon with Others Call on Oil Giant to Change Dirty Practices
As ExxonMobil executives and shareholders arrive in Dallas for the annual shareholders meeting, the Exxpose Exxon coalition, a collaborative campaign of some of the nation's largest environmental organizations in the country, is joining forces with environmental justice leaders and public interest advocates to demand that ExxonMobil change its irresponsible corporate practices and stop using its profits and power to encourage America’s dependence on oil and undermine progress on global warming. Soaring fuel prices coupled with exorbitant ExxonMobil pay packages have garnered public incredulity and increased the campaign’s momentum more than ever.
